About the event
From The Teacher Mrs. Tracye Meyer:
This beginner sewing workshop is for people that either have never sewn before or haven’t sewn for a while and would like to have a refresher.
In this 1st class we will cover the very basics of the sewing machine, how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, how to insert the bobbin. I’ll have a few tools with me that you can check out. Then we will practice basic sewing stitches and removing stitches. You will cut out the material and make a coaster in the first class.
If you have your own machine, please feel free to bring it but we have three sewing machines for those that do not have their own machine.
Most workshops are two hours long.
